“So, Mikey, what happened with your relationship with your manager? We saw you guys looking so cute together, and then the next thing we know, you’re making out with that redhead. Did you cheat on Tia?”

This reporter is starting to piss me off. I thought we were here to talk about my album, not my shit show of a personal life. I wish I could drink during interviews. At least that would make it easier.

“I like to keep my personal life personal. Can we talk about the album?”

The reporter smiles at me. “Of course, but first, do you think maybe you’re getting a little old for all the partying we’ve seen you doing? Your fans have taken to social media saying how they don’t like this version of you. Do you think it’s going to affect your album sales?”

I am so fucking done with this interview. If it wouldn’t look horrible, I would walk, but she is right. My fans are pissed at me, and they are who I need to buy this album. Walking would just make them even angrier.

“I’ve always been a party animal. I’m sure my fans know that. But I want them to know, I hear them and am planning on changing my life up a bit. I love my fans; they are why I am here today,” I say, pasting on a fake smile.

That seems to satisfy the reporter and she finally starts talking about my music.
